Sarah Fair, MA., RCC, PMH-C

Owner, Counsellor

Sarah created hey lemon out of a desire to have therapy feel different, more approachable, serious but not stuffy. For the in-betweens, for when life keeps dishing lemon after lemon, right!?

Sarah is a depth-oriented Relational-Cultural Therapist that intentionally integrates theory from evidence-based methodologies including: Narrative Therapy, AEDP, and Schema Therapy. Sarah is certified in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International and is importantly Feminist, trauma-informed and context/systems-aware.

Clients Sarah usually works with:

  • Perinatal population at any stage: TTC, infertility, perinatal loss, pregnancy, matrescence, “baby blues”, birth trauma, NICU stays, postpartum, PPD, PPA, PPR etc.

  • Professionals and students wanting to manage challenges with more clarity

  • Folks navigating life transitions (e.g. parenthood, breakups, job changes)

In-between sessions, find Sarah loving up on her family, adjusting to motherhood, reading, running, catching a Lagree class, or watching the latest season of Drag Race.

Mikaela Dahlman, MA, C-AAIS

Pre-licensed, Masters-level Counsellor

Mikaela takes a relational approach to counselling and draws from an array of evidence-based approaches including acceptance and commitment therapy, solution focused therapy, family systems therapy, attachment theory, and CBT. Mikaela is also a certified animal-assisted intervention specialist and wholeheartedly believes that working with animal partners and learning through the human-animal bond can be extremely impactful. You will usually find her with her dog Koa who is thriving in his work as a therapy dog.

Clients Mikaela usually works with:

  • Adolescents and young adults experiencing anxiety and depression

  • Families navigating conflict

  • Anyone managing relationship and communication issues

  • Individuals who benefit from healing alongside therapy dogs

In-between sessions, find Mikaela walking her dog, reading romance novels, spending time with her family, cuddled up on the couch watching hockey, or doing Lego.
